Great series of photos and I especially like the very last one, with the mix of man-made and natural materials (and that fabulous Baobab tree). It's funny how we get so saturated with foreign films and entertainment that our own national iconography gets overlooked, but you've reminded me that the whole 'corrugated iron' look is VERY Australian!
that's my favourite, too. i have very many versions! the tree was magnificent. the photo was taken somewhere between Carnarvon Gorge and Roma, on the way home to Brisbane on our Outback trip, during which the marvels of the Australian landscape were truly revealed. thank you for your comment. much appreciated.
