Wonderful apples from that part of the world. Fortunately, we can get them closer to home, from a stall in New Farm farmers' market.<br />It's weird. I can't believe I haven't got used to christmases in the heat, but it seems the hemisphere we're born in is somehow fundamentally part of our make-up. An American friend of mine was only saying on Facebook today how she just can't rouse the christmas spirit here.<br />I'll be back a week or so into the new year.
